It's another 1 or more to OF from the West Entrance.Īgain this is with no stops whatsoever from the time you leave SLC until you get to the west entrance. The drive to the west entrance from SLC airport is 5 hours. So the earliest you'd arrive at OF would be 11 pm. You'd be at the south entrance at about 10 pm, if all goes well. From SLC to the south entrance of YNP, it's 7 hours, no stops for food/rest breaks, etc. If you have no delays in travel, getting your luggage and rental car, you'll be on the road from the airport about 2:30 or 3 pm.
